It is the dark green of cypress branches, sticky resin and smoked wood. Cardamom adds a cool, spicy, almost peppery sharpness, while pine tar gives the opening something bitter, tarry, and at times medicinal. Incense does not wait in the background but makes itself noticeable early on. It smells balsamic, dry, and smoky, but also has a bright, slightly camphoraceous side.
